Material Mondays: Wood
On Mondays, we focus on familiarizing ourselves with materials and each other, giving life to materials and adding a personal touch to our designs.
Oak most popular It’s naturally rot-resistant and water-resistant
Walnut High-end hardwood known for its richness and coarse grain.
Teak Grained wood that comes in shades ranging from light yellow to dark golden brown. Its high natural oil content makes it resistant to moisture, rot, and pests.
Hickory Dense, stiff hardwood that’s shock-resistant. It’s also a common building material in ladders, wagon wheels, and paneling.
So if you were a wood, what wood would you be?
ME- HICKORY

I'M UNCERTAIN IF IT'S JUST "BLOCKED" BECAUSE I'M CURRENTLY IN ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES, BLOCK ISLAND. WHENEVER I MAKE TIME TO RECHARGE, I FEEL EMPOWERED TO FACE CHALLENGES HEAD-ON. A STRONG ENDORSEMENT FOR SELF-CARE.
